D2S Acrobat Plug-in provides a simple yet user-friendly way
of incorporating any certificate into a PDF file.

Digital signatures authenticate and safeguard information by allowing authors and key personnel to 'sign' electronic documents with a unique electronic signature based upon the certificate that identifies the person who applied it as having read, reviewed or contributed to the document.

    Example

    Digital signatures
A digital signature handler encodes an electronic document with an encrypted unique signature that positively identifies the person who applied the signature.
The signing is based upon the X509 certificates and attaches an encrypted unique signature to a document that verifies who signed the document, when it was signed and other user-determined information.

    Seamless integration
Simply choose the Digital Signature tool from the Acrobat toolbar to apply your key-based signature to any PDF file.
Acrobat's Document Compare function allows you to open two or more PDF files in tiled windows for side-by-side on-screen comparisons of different versions of the PDF document.

    Improving authentication
Using D2S, legal firms f.i. can impose
high-level version control on volatile documents such as contracts and living wills, tracking small but important changes and instantly identifying the authors of content alterations.
