Digital signatures authenticate and safeguard information by allowing authors and key personnel to “sign” electronic documents with a unique electronic signature based upon the certificate that identifies the person who applied it as having read, reviewed or contributed to the document.

In only one single step, D2S Convert&Sign converts and signs a PDF file without the need for a full Acrobat license.

Convert to PDF and sign

1. Convert almost any file to PDF from the Windows Explorer on your desktop with only one right-mouse click.
2. With the Microsoft Office integration plug-in: one click on the D2S icon starts the application.

Digital signatures
A digital signature handler encodes an electronic document with an encrypted unique signature that positively identifies the person who applied the signature.
The signing is based upon X509 certificates and attaches an encrypted unique signature to a document that verifies who signed the document, when it was signed and other user-determined information. When you validate a PDF file with one or more signatures, D2S Convert&Sign checks not only the authenticity but also performs integrity checks.

Seamless integration
D2S Convert&Sign is a stand-alone application that provides drag and drop interface as well as desktop integration. It is lightweight, user-friendly and supports the Adobe Acrobat Digital Signatures framework.
Using D2S, legal firms can impose highlevel version control on volatile documents such as contracts and living wills, tracking small but important changes and instantly identifying the authors of content modifications.
